Abstract: This report outlines archive’s services, deposits and document resources emicurrent records of the public service. The main focus are human resources, installations, equipment, juridical and administrative framing and management procedures involved, using variables as the archive’s tutelage; time of existence; and its geographic location. The archivist reality is not only heterogeneous, but also in constant change. Besides, it faces many difficulties and requires rationalisation measures oriented by a prospective line, not merely motivated by the pressures of accumulating documents. This project will also provide IAN/TT a data base with systematic and up-to-date information.
